The missing Presets cannot be applied to GIFs. When converting GIFs to WebP images, there are fewer built-in Presets than when converting JPEGs or PNGs. Lossy optimization is not a good fit for GIFs because their image quality is already low.ĬodeKit can create a WebP version of your GIF image automatically. Gifsicle with png windows#
(windows binaries from my windows installation + new binaries downloaded by the plugin: cwebp, gifsicle, jpegtran, optipng). Then I moved the website online and the plugin is telling me that I am missing gifsicle and webp.īut I went to my files, and binaries were there. I installed EWWW Image Optimizer in a WordPress on Windows (Wamp) and everything was fine.
